My family and I use to go to the Upper Crust Bagel Co. at 980 Post Rd Ste D, Darien, CT 06820 and we would spend a small fortune, but the staff is so rude especially someone who goes by the name Richie. He might have given me a fake name, but he was extremely rude and when I would call, he would barley answer any question and would continually hang the phone up on me. They behave even worse in person. They would make out they did not receive my order online after I paid for it online and would make me wait until I found a copy of the order just to stall for time. They continually get the orders wrong, but the worst part is their continuous rudeness of we don't care attitude and it is your problem. The staff of any of the UCBC except for Greenwich CT that is a very good store family run and owned. The rest especially Darien CT do not have to worry about any bad & awful behavior on their part there is no accountability because there is no one you can contact above them to file a complaint. My family and I now frequent the Village Bagels in Norwalk CT it is 1/2 the price for Bagels and any Food purchase it is just as good probably better and the Staff goes above and beyond. You see the staff has a boss that you can actually file a complaint with so they have accountability and they are extremely customer orientated. Great Bagel Place I recommend Village Bagels in Norwalk CT highly.
