I was struck by a recurring thought several years ago when I pondered leaving the legal profession: how can I channel my education, training, and experience into bettering the lives of others throughout my community?

Following several events, the decision seemed clear. Opening an organization, dedicated to the fundamental task of providing great home care services at an affordable rate, was a natural fit for what I wanted to do.

Since that time, I have built Advoquest Home Care based on those simple yet vital tasks. A major part of fulfilling our commitment to our clients is maintaining a strong team of nurses- aides and companions. I realize that I am only as strong as the people around me. And so my most important resource is my team of independent contractors who provide service through the Advoquest system.

We constantly invest in our team’s professional development and well-being. They are our family and I personally want to ensure they are always prepared to serve your family in the most caring and efficient way possible.

At Advoquest, we-re here to help your loved one with the most delicate tasks such as personal care and hygiene. Caregivers may assist with transfer, ambulation, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinent care.  When it comes to those very personal or embarrassing moments, we take extra care in making sure that we respect everyone-s dignity and self-worth.

Incontinent Care

Advoquest Home Care can provide care for clients affected by incontinence. We know that even if the condition cannot be improved, a well trained aide can assist in improving your loved one’s quality of life.  Professional caregivers use their experience when caring for incontinent clients who require unique attention.

Medication Reminders

When it is critical that your loved one adheres to their medication schedule, our Medication Reminder Services focus on making sure your loved one takes their prescription medications on time, every time.

Whether its due to advanced age or memory loss, we will remind your loved one when it’s time to take their medication.  Consistent and accurate service is just one more factor that sets us apart.

Grocery Shopping

A nutritious and well-balanced diet is very important.  A nurse-s aide will shop for your loved one, ensure that they purchase food that meets their nutritional needs, as well as, their individual tastes.

Meal Preparation

Shopping for nutritious foods is only a part of healthy living.  You can be certain that your loved one will enjoy balanced meals prepared with care and attention to detail.

Chore Service

While chore activities help your loved one stay active, often they should be performed in a supervised and controlled environment.  A well qualified nurse-s aide will help frail or disabled persons carry out tasks in a safe manner.  As a result, your loved one stays active while we help correct or prevent issues that may affect their health or safety.

Homemaking

Everyone needs a helping hand.  Some homemaking activities include light housekeeping, laundry, cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms, and changing beds.

Laundry Service

Doing laundry may be difficult or unsafe for some clients.  Caregivers can provide assistance with washing, drying, folding, ironing, and sorting of clothes and undergarments.
