Domino’s Pizza Franchising LLC is the franchisor. Domino’s Pizza store offers to customers pizza and other authorized products through delivery or carry-out services. At the moment, single-store franchises are granted only for franchisors who have recent experience as a successful manager or supervisor of a store for at least 12 months.
Three franchise formats Domino’s Pizza:
- Domino’s Pizza Traditional Stores: sells pizza and other authorized products through delivery and carry-out services. Stores are mostly located in strip centers and shopping malls, and other similar locations that are convenient for delivery vehicles and customers.
- Domino’s Pizza Non-Traditional Stores: offers only carry-out service. These types of stores are located in office buildings, stadiums, airports, toll roads, convenience stores, and similar retailers.
- We also issue licenses to large public entertainment or similar facility operators (for example, stadiums). For convenience store operators we give licenses to sell approved products. Those license fees are based on facility sales. The licensee for carry-out service.
Training Overview: The franchise owners must complete all training that is required to operate the store. The type and duration of training will depend on whether the franchisees have at least 12 consecutive months of current managerial or leadership experience in the Domino's Pizza system.
The franchisor will designate a time and place or will it be held online for all training programs. After the franchisee has 12 or more consecutive months of recent successful management or supervisory experience within the Domino’s Pizza system, he will have to complete the franchise pre-qualification process.
Franchisees are required to complete all of the obligatory tracks of the Franchise Management School (FMS) to obtain Qualified Franchisee Candidate status, if they qualified. The franchisor will periodically offer additional or supplemental training programs and franchise owners must complete them within one year of the time in which it is originally offered.
Territory Granted: The franchisees' store can be placed only at the franchisor approved location. The franchisor does not grant in franchise agreement an exclusive territory not for under the traditional store or not for the non-traditional store. However, there is an assigned area of primary responsibility under a traditional store franchise agreement.
After the signing, the Standard Franchise Agreement will determine the boundaries of the area of primary responsibility. In general, this area is a one-mile radius around the store, a one-mile radius from a street intersection, or a written description equivalent to a one-mile radius.
The exception is densely populated areas where it will be a 1/2 mile radius. During the term of the Standard Franchise Agreement, the franchisor or its affiliates guarantee that they will not provide the franchise a store in the same primary responsibility area.
Obligations and Restrictions: The store must always operate under the supervision of the franchisee or the other controlling person. The manager (franchisee or the controlling person) must devote full time to operating the store or other related activities approved by the franchisor. The franchisor that all products and menu items must be available for carry-out and delivery from the store. Any products that have not been approved are strictly forbidden to offer in the store. Types of authorized products can be changed by the franchisor from time to time.
Term of Agreement and Renewal: The initial franchise duration is 10 years. It can be renewed if franchisees meet certain requirements.
Financial Assistance: We do not offer direct or indirect financing. The franchisor does not guarantee a franchisee’s obligation, note, or lease.
