Site Selection
If you are awarded an EDGE BOARDSHOP Franchise, the next step will be to find a store location, have that location approved, negotiate and execute the lease and prepare to open your store. Your Site Selection is a critical component to your success as a franchisee.
We will leverage all the resources and knowledge we have to assist you in identifying your location and negotiating your lease.
Training
The goal of EDGE Franchisee training is simple: to provide you with the best possible instruction and guidance so that you will be able to know, with confidence, how to operate your EDGE franchise store and position it for success.
Upon successful completion of EDGE training, you will have the skills and resources to:
- Be fluent in the EDGE and Skateboard culture.
- Open and operate your EDGE store.
- Order, account for, value and manage inventory.
- Plan effective marketing, events, advertising & public relations strategies to establish and grow your business.
- Implement daily operational procedures.
- Manage key POS functions and system operations.
- Comply with EDGE business reporting & evaluation requirements.
- Understand people management skills required to successfully manage your EDGE store.

Store Build Out
We recognize that once your lease is signed, you will be anxious to open your store.
Once you have your approved store location we will guide you through the next logical steps. We will work closely with you to expedite your store build out and answer the questions you are sure to have in the process. We are committed to making the opening process go as smoothly and efficiently as it can.
You will be assisted in:
- The layout and design of all your fixtures for your specific space.
- Resources to purchase and delivery of your fixtures.
- Exterior signage for store frontage and store interior.
- Grand opening marketing and advertising media.
- EDGE computer hardware and point of sale equipment setup.
- Software installation and training.
- Accounting and business services.
- Initial product ordering for all inventory.
