In late 1954 about 90% of Miracle's work was retail--a big swing from the early days. The San Mateo, California flagship location opened in 1965 and the success of Miracle Auto Painting as a chain was well established. Longer term advertising and marketing plans were designed and implemented and franchising began.

While recent automobile sales figures are growing, many cars on the road today are five to eight years old and prime candidates for Miracle's cosmetic repairs and refinishing. Naturally, vehicles involved in minor to mid-sized collisions are prime candidates for Miracle's increasing business in the insurance/collision segment of the industry.
Since the late seventies, Miracle Auto Painting & Body Repair has been available to increasing numbers of franchise owners who have used Miracle's expertise to operate businesses of their own.
