Industry Research:

Mobile HQ, Inc. was created as a result of over 20 years of combined experience in the wireless and telecommunications industry. We conducted extensive market research including in-depth interviews with current wireless retail franchise owners participating in various business models around the country.

Upon analyzing the wireless retail models currently available, we reached two conclusions. First, there exists a prevalence of the multi-carrier model (several cell phone carriers at one location). We found that utilizing a multi-carrier model creates greater customer uncertainty while in the store and elevated inventory costs for the store owner. In addition, technology changes rapidly within the industry and inventory can become a liability very quickly that must be sold at a lower cost or pushed off to unsuspecting customers.

Second, we discovered a tremendous opportunity for additional products and services to be offered alongside cellular providers. These additional products and services create a stronger platform for customer retention, cross promotional capabilities and additional income streams for our franchisees.

Model One: MHQ Franchisee - This model allows for a full “hands-on approach” allowing you as a franchisee to be directly involved with your retail location(s) from inception. This allows for a smooth transition from your current employment to owner/operator of an MHQ retail store. Unlike Model One, you will assume control of a fully operational store. We eliminate the startup worries and lessen the waiting period for income generation.

Model Three: Area Developer - This model allows for the purchase, development and expansion of a geographic territory of up to four million residents. All aspects available to Models One and Two are, or can be, made available to the Area Developer. As an Area Developer, you will be able to directly oversee the development and expansion of your entire territory with direct, ongoing support from our corporate office.
