Oil Can Henry's was founded in 1972 and began franchising in 1988. It was a private company with more than 40 locations across the United States, and was based in Portland, Oregon.

In addition, Oil Can Henry's provides on-site assistance and training on a regular basis to ensure center employees are confident and effective.
