Jack Lentz, CEO and Chairman, founded Postal Annex+, Inc. in 1985 with three stores. The first PostalAnnex franchise was sold in December, 1986 in San Diego, California. In September, 2007, Postal Annex, Inc. changed its name to Annex Brands, Inc. to reflect its position as a multi-branded company. Each brand, including PostalAnnex, continues to operate under its original name.

Each location serves a growing customer base of homemakers, small and large businesses, offering complete shipping options from whole-house moving to overnight document delivery.
