Presidio Home Care was established shortly after Colin & Justin Barnes started searching for in-home support for their own loved ones. They discovered that the quality of care offered by many of the caregiving companies they worked with was subpar and left them feeling like something was missing.

This inspired them to create an agency that did provide the high-quality care that someone in need deserves. When they opened their doors to the general public in mid-2009 they were warmly received by the community as a refreshing alterative to the run-of-the-mill caregiving companies that had historically dominated the market.

We specialize in elder care but work with any adult client who has a physical or cognitive limitation, including post-surgical patients. Our model highlights quality over quantity. We gear our services towards larger, long term clients as opposed to small or short term cases by implementing daily and weekly minimum service levels. With some of  the highest qualification standards in the industry for our personal attendant employees, we ensure that the quality of the caregiver we provide is second to none.

We hire only Certified Nursing Aids (CNAs) or professionals with equivalent or higher professional training to work with our clients. That means that every one of our caregivers has a baseline of training that ensures they know how to properly and professionally assist our clients with their activities of daily living. This, alone, sets Presidio Home Care far above many of the agencies operating today.

Our administrative professionals complete the package by providing the close management necessary to ensure comfortable and continual services for our clients. After intake, a client is assigned a Client Care Coordinator who manages that client-s care experience. The Client Care Coordinator is responsible for knowing the client-s case, assembling and managing their care team, making timely recommendations, and managing that client-s ongoing experience. A member of the administrative team is available to clients 24/7 to answer calls from caregivers and clients. We have found that this extra level of attention is key for long-term client retention.

With a growing demand for their high-end professional services, the founders of Presidio Home Care decided to expand their successful business model across the State of California, the Western U. S., and then throughout the United States. Presidio Home Care will achieve this expansion through the implementation of a franchising model in the United States and by securing key business partners who will facilitate national growth.
