It All Started... in Sudbury, Ontario, in 1980 when we opened our first Casey's restaurant. Since then, we have grown to over 160 restaurants that operate under five brand names across Canada franchised by Prime Restaurants of Canada Inc. including Casey's (Est. 1980), Pat & Mario's (Est. 1982), East Side Mario's (Est. 1987), Prime Pubs (Est. 1996), the Bier Markt (Est. 1998), and Prime Pubs of America (Est. 2006).

Prime's brands employ more than 8,000 Canadians in full and part time positions and a Prime Restaurant is an integral part of the communities in which they operate, from fund raising and the sponsorship of community events, to Prime’s long-standing corporate support of Camp Oochigeas, which provides kids living with cancer the opportunity to enjoy a unique summer camp experience.

Why Casey's?

It all started in 1986 after the first Casey's opened its doors in Sudbury, Ontario. Casey’s Grill Bar restaurants are ideally positioned, from our restaurant's design and dining atmosphere, to our food and beverage offering, to connect with our principal target Guest, adults 34-54, which aligns with the composition and the future growth trend of the Canadian population. Yet, adults 19-34 will also feel at home at a Casey's restaurant, especially in our dynamic bars, whether it’s a gathering to catch the big game, or just a night out with friends.

Casey’s provides intensive operational and administrative training programs for our franchisees and senior level managers. These may take the form of on-the-job training, classroom training programs or a combination of each. Our training team also provides training and motivational activities for all staff members prior to Casey’s openings.

The overall objective of the Casey’s franchise program is to provide you with a sound, successful restaurant concept that, combined with your hands-on operation, control and hard work, will produce personal satisfaction and financial rewards.

In partnership with our franchisees, Casey’s evaluates potential Casey’s sites based on proven selection criteria such as traffic counts, trade area anaylsis, demographic studies, visibility, ingress and egrees considerations and assessment of local competition. Casey’s seeks franchisees that are committed to high profile locations.

Casey's restaurants food and beverage offering provides our Guests with the opportunity to enjoy a variety of flavours including the familiar, our Casey's Classics, irresistible favourites such as our Famous Back Ribs and Casey's Classic Caesar, while our new innovative menu items, Casey's Twists, are packed full of fresh ingredients and exciting flavours including our Mango Mahi Mahi and Louisiana Jambalaya.
