Our attention to house made fine foods. We take such pride in the ingredients we use and the process of how we make our food. Our customers know they can come to any Greenbelly and have a guilt-free purchase. They know that we do not use any fryers and will use the best ingredients and processes to prepare their food.
Our approach to franchising is also unique. We take the franchisee from start to finish through the entire process. Using our nationwide realtors to help the franchisee find the ideal space and help negotiate their lease; our in-house architect will layout the space and make sure it is suitable for the ideal Greenbelly before the lease is signed. After that, our architect will layout the final space and we will help them purchase the needed equipment.
Those are a few things that makes us stand out, but let's not forget the obvious, we just have a great name that sticks in people's heads!
Our History
Greenbelly was started by Michael Schall and family in 2008, after Michael worked in advertising for years in NYC. He then saw the need for a healthy option that he could bring back to his desk and not have to mix there and make a sticky mess. When moving back to the Midwest, Michael realized there were not only very few healthy options available, but nothing that was quick and on the go. And then, Greenbelly, our fast casual healthy food concept, was created.
Greenbelly's support team, from lawyers to managers to trainers, is comprised of Michael's lifelong friends who care deeply about the company!
